Coles Junior Landcare school garden grants program

Overview

The Coles Junior Landcare garden grants program provides grants of up to $1,000 to schools and youth groups to help create gardens in their grounds or community, such as bush tucker gardens and water wise gardens.

The opportunity encourages students to learn about the environment through outdoor learning, and via interaction in developing their own gardens.

The grant supports the following activities:

Any school or youth/community group seeking to educate young Australians about the environment are eligible to apply, however priority will be given to schools/groups that have not received a Coles Junior Landcare garden grant in the previous 12 months.

There are three funding rounds, and approximately 300 grants awarded each year.
