Overview

Target audience: Anyone working with Aboriginal youth, or Aboriginal community members

Course summary: This course provides participants with the skills to run Mooditj groups in their community. The Mooditj program was developed to raise awareness about sexual health among Indigenous youth aged 10 to 14 years, however it is appropriate for all ages. Course content includes:

• self identity
• puberty and caring for your body
• understanding emotions
• relationships
• sexual issues and sexual rights
• parenting
• identifying goals and dreams.

Fee payable: Yes

Delivery mode: On site

Financial support for Indigenous students: Limited subsidies are available for eligible people working with Aboriginal communities.
