Overview

Target audience: People who are interested in developing support and counselling skills to assist people in Indigenous communities to overcome alcohol and other addictions

Course outline: This Certificate III course provides foundational studies in the field of alcohol and other addictions. The course is designed to provide professional, culturally appropriate training, of workers who deal with Indigenous people, and is particularly appropriate for assisting community groups to establish alcoholism abatement programs. Core units covered include:
