Certificate IV in alcohol and other drugs

 

Overview

Target audience: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people interested in or already working in the alcohol and other drugs sector

Course outline:

The Certificate IV in alcohol and other drugs is initially being offered to people who have completed the Certificate III in community services work delivered by the Drug and Alcohol Office (or the equivalent units). The training will build on knowledge and skills in responding to drug and alcohol issues and related harms in Aboriginal communities. In addition, the training will provide information on mental health issues and co-occurring disorders.
