Course summary: The BlackCard course has been developed from an Aboriginal perspective with the theme of Aboriginal terms of reference. The course is based on tertiary level subjects Aboriginal Perspectives, Aboriginal Approaches to Knowledge and Aboriginal Politics. Successful completion of the course indicates that the BlackCard holder has acquired a level of competence in communication and negotiation skills and the appropriate ability, tact, and perception to work with:

Modules can be developed in areas of need, in consultation with employers. On completion of the workshop, participants will be issued with a statement of attainment which will outline the level of training they have received. The BlackCard is valid for a two-year period after which the holder must be re-assessed for cultural competency.
