Understanding diabetes - diabetes education for care workers

 

Overview

Target audience: personal care workers, assistants in nursing and other unregulated care providers

Course summary: This three hour workshop aims to provide best practice education for care workers supporting clients in disability services, aged care, community clinics, rural settings and hospitals. Offered in an interactive learning environment, the workshop includes:

Understanding diabetes is endorsed by the Royal College of Nursing and offers 2.5 Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) points.
