Kidney Health Australia Primary Care Education

 

Overview

Target audience: primary care health professionals including GPs, primary care nurses, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Practitioners

Course summary: The Kidney Health Australia (KHA) Primary Care Edcuation program, formerly known as The Kidney Check Australia Taskforce (KCAT), aims to increase awareness and implementation of best practice detection and management of chronic kidney disease (CKD). The scope of the program encompasses education on other chronic diseases that commonly co-exist with kidney disease, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
