Overview

Target audience: Those working with Aboriginal youth, including midwives, nurses, teachers, Aboriginal Health Workers, allied health professionals and community workers who have the capacity to deliver the program in their area

Course summary: Core of Life (COL) is a culturally respectful, comprehensive education program for adolescents. COL identifies birth as being central to cultures and families.

This course for facilitators is a hands-on, health promotion/prevention/early intervention program created by midwives. Participants learn:
