Target audience: All staff of NSW Health Department

Course summary: This training, which is compulsory for all staff of the NSW Health Department, empowers participants to deliver more respectful, responsive and culturally sensitive health services for Aboriginal people, families and communities. Topics covered by the training include:

• history and culture
• identity
• Aboriginal health
• communication
• existing barriers for access to health services
• local content (customised for each Local Health District/geographic area).

Fee payable: Free (for NSW Health Department staff)

Delivery mode: Combination of online and on site
