Target audience: Individuals and organisations who work with, or deliver services to, Aboriginal people in the Pilbara region of Western Australia (WA)

Course summary: Wangka Maya offers custom training or one-day workshops that introduce participants to the culture of Aboriginal people in the Pilbara. Course topics include:

• how Pilbara Aboriginal people identify themselves
• language, culture and history and their impacts on the lives of Pilbara Aboriginal people
• communications skills and values of Pilbara Aboriginal people
• cultural differences and how these may impact on life and work.
