Aboriginal cultural awareness training

 

Overview

Target audience: Business and government agencies in South Australia (SA)

Course summary:
This seven hour workshop is conducted by Aboriginal facilitators who use a combination of personal experiences and mixed media to engage with participants. Facilitators aim to provide a safe space to discuss and answer questions in interactive sessions. The emphasis is on addressing participant needs, building knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal people, communities and nations; and how to conduct business in a culturally competent manner. Course topics include:
