Overview

Target audience: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women who have breastfed at least one child for at least six months

Course summary: This course provides Indigenous mothers with the skills to work in the area of breastfeeding peer support. Course units include:

Support breastfeeding in Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander communities
Work in an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander primary health care context.

Fee payable: Free course

Delivery mode: On site

Financial support for Indigenous students: Indigenous students may be eligible for an incidentals allowance from Abstudy.
