Target audience: Nurses working in general practice

Course summary: This course provides participants with the skills to provide a duty of care to all clients in relation to eye care. On completion of this course, participants will have an understanding of:

• the anatomy and physiology of the eye
• the five common eye conditions in Australia
• what you can do to help your client
• eye health and ongoing vision care

At the completion of the course, students will be presented with a brief online assessment that will test their underpinning knowledge.
