Target audience: Clinical and allied health workers who provide services for people living with or at risk of viral hepatitis

Course summary: This 7 week course provides an overview of current information on viral hepatitis with a focus on hepatitis C. Course content includes:

• overview of hepatitis A, B, C
• management of chronic hep C
• coinfection
• pre-test counselling (introduction)
• psychosocial issues
• hep C and discrimination
• nutrition and hep C
• management of occupational exposures.
