Overview

Target audience: Care workers with some prior experience in dementia care

Course summary: This unit, from the Certificate IV in aged care, provides participants with the skills to facilitate support responsive to the specific nature of dementia. This course primarily covers knowledge and skills needed to provide guidance and support in implementing care plans for people with dementia in a variety of settings. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
