Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs Work

 

Overview

Target audience: Those who wish to provide services and interventions to clients with alcohol and other drugs issues and/or implement health promotion and community interventions

Course summary: This course will prepare students to work in community based organisations, residential rehabilitation services and/or outreach services as a community or health worker. It provides delegates with the skills and theoretical knowledge base required to provide a range of services and interventions to clients with alcohol and other drug use issues.

The course will comprise of 17 units of competency, including 12 core units and 5 elective units.
