Diploma of counselling and group work (process psychology)



This two-year program is designed for those people wanting to work in counselling with individuals, couples and families. This course can be taken to expand and deepen one's interpersonal skills to enhance a current professional (and personal) life in any field which includes health professionals and human service providers (such as nurses, teachers, doctors, lawyers, welfare workers, therapists) whose work involves daily interactions with other people. This course is ideal for people wanting to bring the creativity of transformative change, personal development and 'meaning' into their work-life.

This course meets the training requirements for registration with ACA as an accredited counsellor.

The following modules will be completed:

Intake for the Diploma course commences Tuesday 1st March 2011.

Entrance Requirements:
1. Applicants will need to submit a PPIA application form, a Curriculum Vitae outlining their experience in psychological services and qualifications, and a letter outlining their interest in the Diploma
2. Applicants will need to agree to abide by our Code of Ethics and our Code of Professional Conduct and Practice
3. Applications for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL's) need to be assessed by our Director of Training.
