Certificate IV in Indigenous women's and babies' health

 

Overview

This course is suitable for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers currently employed in, or those intending to work in, the area of women's and babies' health. The certificate equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide health care services and health promotion to Indigenous women and their babies. The subjects covered in this certificate include: women's business; antenatal and pregnancy care; child health; care of a newborn; childbirth and postnatal care; and counselling and advocacy skills.
