This certificate is aimed at individuals who have knowledge, skills, and experience in assessing and treating a range of health problems in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients. Workers undertaking this certificate level generally work in a range of health promotion, health care roles, and health settings. This certificate seeks to further enhance students' skills and knowledge in Aboriginal health by covering topics such as advocacy, working within a legal and ethical framework, mental health work, and alcohol and other drugs work.
