Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care

 

Overview

This certificate is the minimal qualification needed to work in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Workers with this qualification are afforded the title Aboriginal Health Worker and work in a health care setting providing services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Aboriginal Health Workers often receive ongoing supervision and guidance in their position and work as part of a team.
13 core units, 1 elective - 650 hours
