Course summary: This course fosters participants' specialist skills and knowledge in road safety, accident prevention, and traffic and transport improvements. The program is multidisciplinary and receives input from psychology, public health, optometry, civil/mechanical/manufacturing and medical engineering. Guest lecturers from industry and government (e.g. transport, policing, insurance) enhance students understanding of real-world safety problems. The Graduate Certificate in Road Safety consists of one core unit plus three electives and includes practical placements:
