Associate Degree in Indigenous Community Health

 

Overview

Target audience: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students wishing to work in Indigenous health in areas such as policy, planning, health promotion, and project management

Course summary: This course provides participants with knowledge and skills to perform more effectively in a health related position. It also enables students to learn the skills required to provide an alternative, inclusive approach to health management that acknowledges Indigenous healing practices. Some course core units include:

On completion of this course, delegates will be eligible to apply for entry into the third year of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Indigenous Community Health).
