Traditional Indigenous games (TIG) training

 

Overview

This training is organised by the Office of Communities, NSW Government. A training program conducted over several hours that will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to conduct and manage TIG programs within their local setting. The TIG training covers many aspects of program delivery and concentrates on the cultural aspects of TIG.

Topics to be covered include:

The program looks at the overall skills required to deliver traditional Indigenous games using modified equipment appropriate for each games. A TIG resource is provided with this program.
