Quitskills for Maternal Health Workers in Remote Communities (WA)

 

Overview

The Quitskills for Maternal Health Workers in Remote Communities training is a component of Cancer Council South Australia's Quitskills program, a nationally recognised smoking cessation training program. Quitskills provides participants with the confidence to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to think about their smoking and support them with any changes they wish to make.

Quitskills for Maternal Health Workers in Remote Communities is a two-day training package with a specific focus on maternal and infant health. The aim of this pilot training program is to:

There is currently only one workshop scheduled for Western Australia, however more may become available later in 2018. Quitskills is a free course, however please note that registration is essential.
