Communication, Consultation and Competency in Clinical Skills (4C's Program)

 

Overview

Communication, Consultation and Competency in Clinical Skills (The 4C’s Program) workshop is designed to increase the confidence and capacity of the health professional to use the Primary clinical care manual or Central Australian Rural Practitioners Association (CARPA) standard treatment manual, to accurately document health care episodes and consult with doctors and nurses about client care to deliver safe, quality care in the remote setting.

The 4C’s Program is designed to meet the learning needs of the remote and isolated health workforce (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers/Practitioners, nurses, midwives and medical officers who may be required to utilise these skills in their workplace.

The  4C’s Program consists of attendance at a face to face course that includes;

The 4Cs Program can be modified according to needs of the health service. 

This course is delivered by CRANAplus.
