Culture and Community Responsive Training

Overview

The Wingecarribee Shire Council, in partnership with Ngaran Ngaran Cultural Awareness (NNCA) is offering free cultural awareness training to health workers and other community members in New South Wales.

The training aims to cover:

Participants can expect to come away from the workshop with a better understanding of Aboriginal people, history and culture in a modern context. For organisations, NNCA can tailor a program aligning to broader strategic goals, which could include employment and retention of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a workplace, or the fostering of greater awareness and cultural inclusion.
