Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health First Aid Training

 

Overview

This course teaches members of the public (18 years and over) how to assist an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander adult who is developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.

There are 15 places for health workers from structured sport, active and recreational organisations to attend this funded course. The course is offered by invitation only and only one registration per organisation will be allocated.

The course is a joint initiative of Health Reimagined,the Northern Queensland Primary Health Network and the Australian Government.
