Ways of working with Aboriginal people - part 1

 

Overview

This training forms part of the Strong spirit strong mind series and is provided by the Drug and Alcohol Office (DAO) of Western Australia. It explores the impact that history has had on alcohol and other drug use in the community and provides broad intervention frameworks based on empowerment principles.

This training is suitable for workers who have Aboriginal clients: individuals and families. Aboriginal workers are encouraged to attend.
