Sexual and reproductive health short course

Overview

This short course is run by Menzies School of Health Research. The Northern Territory experiences some of the poorest sexual health outcomes in Australia. The worldwide burden of unsafe sex, unwanted pregnancies and STIs, is enormous. Sexual and reproductive health is not just about germs and organs but about peoples' right to know, to understand their sexuality and to enact their rights. Rights to sexual diversity, sexual pleasure, the number and timing of children they dsire to have. This is underpinned by good public health policies, evidence-based practices and laws that enable practitioners to do their job.
