GP pharmacotherapy training program

 

Overview

The training will focus on clinicians prescribing to Aboriginal patients and those working within Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations.

Training will accredit general practitioners (GPs) and nurse practitioners to prescribe medication assisted treatment for opioid dependence within the Victorian regulatory framework. pharmacists, practice managers, chief executive officers, and alcohol and other drug workers will also benefit.

The training consists of two parts:

There is no charge to attend this event which has been funded by the Victorian Department of Health.
