Victorian rural doctors conference

Overview

This conference is organised by the Rural Doctors Association of Victoria (RDAV). Rural conferences promote the rural doctor movement. The purpose of this conference has been to encourage association of rural doctors and their families, develop a sense of rural medical community and interaction, and give relevant vertically integrated education. The structure in Victoria was elaborated by the RDAV committee early on to include CPD, medical student involvement, teaching GPs how to be teachers, a political component, a full family program, and relaxing entertainment.
