Australian lung cancer conference

Overview

Lung Foundation Australia is organising this conference. The conference aims to provide a forum to raise and discuss issues relating to the theory and practice of multidisciplinary team care, non small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer and mesothelioma. Plenary sessions are relevant, interactive and focused on producing an outcome relative to multidisciplinary care. Pertinent topics ensure the program appeals to many delegates, including physicians, surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, general practitioners, nurses and people holding similar responsibilities involved in the management, treatment and research of lung cancer throughout Australia. Previous conferences have surpassed anticipated interest, and registration was full prior to the commencement of each conference.

It is anticipated that the conference will attract over 500 delegates and will also feature a nurse lung cancer workshop, Australian Lung Cancer Trials Group (ALTG) general meeting and ALTG concept development workshop.

Registrations open Thursday 1 May 2014.
