10th Annual Queensland Indigenous family violence prevention forum

The forum is organised by the Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Research (CDFVR) and CQ University. The theme of the forum is Warrior whispering! Day one of the forum will commence with a keynote address, followed by a panel discussion. The panel will present ways of working with men, and will feature Queensland and interstate approaches. Later, there will be a series of yarning circles, which will provide an opportunity for you to learn more about a range of issues, including family abuse and adolescent to parent abuse, and share your insights. There will be another keynote speaker prior to the Hard Yarns session after lunch.

Day two of the forum will focus on showcasing three Queensland programs and there will be time for conversations and questions about each of these. Participants will get the chance to find out 'what's working' and how they might be able to include some new ideas into your area of work.
