This one day training workshop is delivered by the Strong spirit strong future (SSSF) team and offers information on Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), prevention strategies, and skills for working with Aboriginal women of child bearing age. A central focus will be the use of culturally secure resources developed for reducing use of alcohol during pregnancy.
The target audience are community service providers from all sectors who work with Aboriginal women, their families and communities. This training if provided free of charge and also attracts 6 Royal College of Nursing Australia (RCNA) CPD points for members.
