10th New South Wales Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Network (ADAN) symposium

 

Overview

The Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Network (ADAN) is run by Aboriginal drug and alcohol workers, for Aboriginal drug and alcohol workers.

The symposium provides opportunities to:

HealthInfoNet Cafe

The HealthInfoNet held an internet cafe at the ADAN symposium which was attended by around 100 delegates. It provided a great opportunity for networking for those working in the field. Delegates were able to hear from experts on the latest trends and treatment approaches in the field, as well as uplifting stories of projects working and working well. Several speakers spoke bravely of their lived experiences with alcohol and other drug use.
