Hepatitis B: infection by stealth

 

Overview

This live panel discussion, to be broadcasted on the Rural Health Channel, will look at ways in which local healthcare professionals can reduce the incidence of hepatitis B infection in their communities and support those living with chronic hepatitis B.

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is now the fastest increasing cause of cancer in Australia. This program covers current research on hepatitis B, prevalence and 'at risk' populations, preventative strategies, diagnosis, and effective treatment and management options.
