Overview

This symposium on trauma informed practice aims to:

• increase understanding of best practice in trauma informed care for organisations and services
• enhance awareness of treatment approaches to complex trauma for practitioners
• expand awareness of the challenges and successes experienced by trauma informed services currently operating in Western Australia.

Keynote speakers include Dr Cathy Kezelman and Dr Pam Stavropoulos, co-authors of Practice guidelines for treatment of complex trauma & trauma informed care and service delivery.
