Overview

Perinatal and infant mental health issues can have long lasting effects on families. What limited evidence there is suggests that this is particularly true for Aboriginal families. There has been limited training in this area to assist people working with Aboriginal families. St John of God Health Care Social Outreach and Advocacy Services invites you to join our training program.

This free two-day training program is devoted to Aboriginal perinatal and infant mental health and attachment.

Program will include:

• cultural awareness and engagement
• Aboriginal child rearing
• attachment
• case studies
