Abstract

This manual has been produced for primary health care workers including doctors, Indigenous health workers, nurses, midwives and allied health professionals.

The content and recommendations are based on evidence and local knowledge and experience. It is intended that the manual is useful in managing women's health in Central Australia and the Top End of the Northern Territory.

The cultural information is derived from information collect from discussions with the traditional women of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yangkunytjatjara Lands.
