Abstract

This manual provides information on good hygiene and the prevention of the spread of germs like measles, mumps, hepatitis, salmonella and meningococcal disease. It outlines the symptoms for each disease and what action should be taken. The manual is designed for doctors and nurses, however it can help environmental health workers to understand the diseases, the symptoms and any action that needs to be taken.
