Abstract

This resource summarises the consultation on the Implementation Plan for the National Framework for Action to Promote Eye Health and Prevent Avoidable Blindness and Vision Loss with the Australian Governments Department of Health and Ageing, in conjunction with Vision2020 Australia. The purpose of the consultation was to:

  • identify priorities for addressing eye health and vision care issues of national significance under the National Framework
  • improve access to comprehensive eye care and rehabilitation services
  • meet obligations under the draft Global Action Plan 2014 - 2019.
