Abstract

This report outlines the work undertaken to include Indigenous status on pathology request forms. It is a result of the Council of Australian Government's commitment under the National Indigenous reform agreement 2008 to improve data quality, specifically, Indigenous identification in key health data sets. The report included input from a number of organisations including state and territory cancer, communicable disease and cervical screening registries.
