Abstract

This article reviews the level of antenatal service delivery available to pregnant women in remote northern and western Queensland, with a particular emphasis on Indigenous women. Increases in perinatal mortality prompted the review, and service changes have been implemented in order to improve outcomes. The article highlights the changes made in the delivery of local and regional antenatal services.
