Abstract

This report on The geographic distribution of Indigenous disability provides an overview of the geographic distribution of disability in the Indigenous population. This report was written for the First Peoples Disability Network of Australia. The report uses data from the 2011 census to draw conclusions about the geographic distribution of disability in the Indigenous population and discusses the implications of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in relation to the geographic distribution.
