Abstract

This report reviews the consultation process, conducted in over 100 Aboriginal communities between June and August 2011, for the Stronger futures policy in the Northern Territory. The evaluation included all stages of consultation and focused on whether the process complied with Australia's obligations under international law to consult with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in relation to decisions that affect their lives. The report outlines the outcomes of the evaluation.
