The Getting Every Child's Heart OK (gECHO) study was a population-based survey to document the extent of undiagnosed rheumatic heart disease (RHD).
This qualitative study used semi-structured interviews with patients, parents/care givers and health professionals to explore the enablers of and barriers to the uptake of secondary antibiotic prophylaxis by Indigenous peoples with acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and/or rheumatic heart disease (RHD).
