Abstract

This publication documents the communication style of Aboriginal people living in south east Australia. It contains the language themes common to the region; deadly aye?, mob and country together with a list of words reflecting these themes. It also presents communication practices used by the Aboriginal people in this region of Australia. The publication is relevant for anyone with an interest in communication and Aboriginal people, but a vital resource for individuals working in the field of health promotion and/or health care services.
