Abstract

James' silent disease is an 11 minute and 32 second documentary which aims to promote awareness about otitis media (OM) and associated hearing loss in children.

The video contains interviews with:

  • a mother whose child has permanent hearing damage as a result of OM (played by an actor)
  • a speech pathologist
  • a clinical leader from Hearing Australia.

James' silent disease was produced by Metro Screen as a part of the Australian Government's Care for kids' ears campaign.
