Abstract

This resource examines the survival and excess deaths in all adolescents and young adults aged 15 - 39 years in Western Australia who had a diagnosis of cancer in the period 1982 - 2004. It highlights the differences between cancer outcomes of adolescence from different socio-demographic categories, as well as substantial variations in the outcomes from different categories of cancers.
