Biographic details

Ben has worked in Aboriginal health for the past 22 years, and exclusively for the past 10 years. This has been mainly working for the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in Alice Springs. Over the past few years he has worked as a consultant and conducted a number of projects including the Central Australian Health Planning Study, Evaluation of the Central Australian Remote Health Training Unit and Board of Management Training for Illawarra AMS and Tharawal Aboriginal Corporation.

Ben has also worked in the field of occupational health and safety and assisted in the establishment of the Workers Health Centre in Sydney in 1977. His international experience includes the investigation of primary health care programs in Philippines, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands and Vietnam.
